Denon x4000 sufficient for KEF R500?

I'm going to buy either pair of KEF R500 or SVS Ultra tower. I have Denon x4000 receiver. Is Denon x4000 sufficient for KEF R500?

If your listening position is less than 12FT and volume is sensible, I think so, especially if you set your speakers to small.

I have 4 ohm speakers (RBH SVT towers set to small), my listening distance is about 18FT, pretty loud volume (parties), even my Denon X3100 can play all day long.

The x4000 looks comparable in overall capability to the Marantz amp I use to drive my R500s, and I can attest that the combo achieves "spirited" levels in my space without any apparent strain (with bass mgmt at a distance of ~8.5 feet of course ).
