Denon X3300 Atmos setup?

just ordered a pair of pioneer SP-T22A atmos speakers for $80 from frys
will be placing them on top of front left right bookshelves

back of receiver has surround back options but those are used for zone 2
am i supposed to connect the atmos speakers to the surround back posts?

It looks like the surround back amps are assignable, so yes, connect the Atmos speakers there and then in the setup menu, you will have to re-assign the surround back amp to Atmos so the AVR knows to decode properly.

hmm found it. setting crossovers the manual says 180 for the atmos speakers but i can choose 150 or 200hz, not 180

im returning them. read they need to be 5 or 6 feet max from mlp. im approx 7 feet
any other budget recommendations like these, that you put on top of bookshelves?
