Denon X2700h and 4k Fire Stick - Atmos issue

I have put a home cinema together with a Denon X2700h, Epson TW7000 and a 5.1.2 setup. I have been using this with a 4k fire stick for about a month and receiving an Atmos signal to the receiver (from Prime, Disney plus etc) until a few days ago, but when watching the same films (the kids love Lion King) I am no longer getting the Atmos signal that I was, and instead get DD+ DSUR.

I have reset the receiver and projector, and re-run Audyssey set-up, so all the speakers are configured properly. I can see that I am getting a 4k/HDR10 visual from the projector, but it shows that the audio input signal only supports DD+.

I have tried Jack Ryan on Prime and this does bring through an Atmos signal, so the config seems to be working (when the stars align).

What I don't understand is why I would get Atmos through Disney plus on a range of films (including the marvel range) but, they now only show DD+ and DSUR.

Has anyone had any issues with this previously, or know of anything that could be causing this?

Thanks

Have you checked your connection speeds with this has occurred? I have seen this happen even during a movie and it usually coincides with others in our household streaming 4k at the same time. We have a decent service (over 100mbps) but that seems to be the issue for me.

I would check to make sure all firmware on all devices are on the latest revisions. Sometimes this fixes issues. Given that, also check the settings to make sure they are compatible. An internet connection of 100MBPS can only support 4 streams simultaneously if all conditions are correct. If there are multiple people on the internet connection simultaneously, you might need to upgrade as network congestion will kill a 4K stream. Also to get 4K and keep it from downverting, all devices must be HDCP 2.2 compliant. If all you have is compatible you need to upgrade the HDMI device due to copy protect.

Thanks everyone.

I have checked the firmware end to end and it's all up to date. I am only running about 60mbps, and have only had the fire stick connected on network, so I wouldn't expect that to impact the bandwidth too much. I am still getting a 4k stream through, but its the Atmos which has stopped working.

When I had it working on jack Ryan on prime I was running around 50mbps.

So the app still says it's supplying an Atmos soundtrack but your avr only sees DD+, and you've applied Dolby Surround to that (as indicated by your post earlier)?
