after doing a bunch of research, and talking to a few people, i think that i have narrowed my DVD player choice down to 2.
the denon 1930CI and the pioneer elite DV-45A
i have done some looking into the offerings by oppo, and they don't really seem to fit the bill. i have heard that component output is only average and redbook playback is nothing to scream about either. (besides its silver and everything else is black)
dvd will be hooked up via pre-amp; 5.1 analog for SACD and component+optical for DVD, then the signal wil be sent via component to an infocus 4805 projector. i don't really need an upscaling player as the projector will only output 480p, 480i, 576i, 576p over component. so no need for 720 or 1080
i can't really seem to find all that much about the pioneer as far as reviews, but it seem'd like a pretty good player. now the denon, i have had denon before and i have always been impressed with just about everything that i have seen/heard/have.
any experience, opinions, options that you might have are greatly appreciated. i'd like to keep the player in the sub-400 catagory. or at least close to that.
thanks again
