So I am unclear on what the room to room conection is for on my AVR-3803 and DVD-2200. I know that they are used for the IR sensors for room to room connections, but can I connect them with some sort of mini plug wire so the remote signals for the dvd player go through the receiver and through the mini plug cable to the dvd player? The ultimate goal is to have everything but my receiver visible in our new cabinet.
