Denon Receiver not outputting component or RCA

So I tried hooking my Wii and Cable box into my receiver and then letting the receiver upconvert through HDMI to the TV. NO luck. I have no trouble swtiching HDMI. I am pretty sure I have everything set to the right source and such. Any experience with similar problems?

Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

Do you have video convert set to on for those sources?

I did all this, and still doesn't work. I had to run the Wii to the TV then audio to th receiver, and the Component for the cable box directly to the TV as well.

It sounds like a 'component in assignment' issue. Check your video input assignments and make sure each is assigned appropriately.
