Denon or Sony Please help

My brother offerend to trade his Denon 2805 for my sony Str-DE 997. Is this a good trade for me. I know denon is usually better, but is it in this case????

IMO, yes. Unless there is something wrong with the Denon, take the Denon and run home as fast as you can.

I moved up from a Sony STR DE 925 110x5 to a Denon 3805. No comparison. Run ,and run fast. And repay your brother for his stupid mistake every chance you get.

I cant believe this is even a question. I didnt bother to read the post but based of the title Id say lay off the crack and get the Denon.
