I recently purchased a Denon 3803 to replace an aging Yamaha Home Theatre Receiver. I have set the receiver up and am very pleased with it but I have one question. I hope you can help.
I have an HDTV cable box connected through the component video "in" and the component video "out". It is working perfectly but for some reason I don't get on screen display of master volume and DSP mode. I can use the onscreen setup menu. The HDTV display simply goes away and alows me use of the menu. I would like to be able to see the Volume display when I watch tv but don't know if that is possible. Any help?
