You know, I just bought a "Made in USA" chair and it has some issues.

There are manufacturing issues everywhere.

Check my mew guitar!

I just bought a guitar the other day in a pawn shop; inside it says, made in Kuala Lumpur. It's a dipole guitar, with six strings on front and two rear-mounted!

Maybe I missed it but any dates Clint on when we might see some reviews?

I am getting an itch to sell my 3805 and move into the HD audio world. I am also interested in the latest HDMI\HD audio standards and what will be implemented when. Hate to lay down good money only to have another standard pop up and bite you or new incompatibility issues spoil the day.

Thanks again for the update!!!

In the article it says that all recievers have Audyssey MultiEQ. The denon avr-790 seems like a very nice price to use it as preamp, but I want to know the extent of the Audyssey MultiEQ. Is this the 6 or 8 point measurement version or just the two point found in the budget avr's? If it is only the two point version, then what is the cheapest model to get into the 6 or 8 point version?

The Audyssey MultEQ version can take up to 6 microphone measurement positions.

The 3 positions is the Audyssey 2EQ version.

There is no 2 positions, unless you want to take less measurements.

Here from what I know:

Audyssey Pro = up to 32 positions.
Audyssey MultEQ XT = up to 8...
Audyssey MultEQ = up to 6...
Audyssey 2EQ = up to 3...
Audyssey EQ = already established (for small portable system).
Bass XT = for portable system (implemented).

Lordoftherings,

Thanks. It is amazing the entry level Denon has Audyssey MultiEQ, the ability to accept a bitstream of the new audio formats and can even upconvert (maybe no so well in this entry level model) for a retail price of $350. This makes me cringe a little bit at the fact that just last summer I bought the Onkyo 805 for $650. This was a great price for the Onkyo, but I would have been just as happy in my small room with this entry-level Denon coming out in June for only $350.

Most of the new product pages are up on Denon's site.

Looks like an across-the-board weight reduction, but the specs are staying the same.

Sounds like we need to wait for bench tests to see if they're actually as powerful as the previous models.

How much do you want for your 805?
