Go to the Denon website and enter the model number and serial number on the update page-Denon will tell you if you're running the most current firmware for that particular piece of equipment. If you're not, they give you the option of downloading the firmware online, or having a disc and instructions sent to you via snailmail. Pretty painless, actually.
