Denon DVD2200 vs 2900

<font color='#000000'>Which actually sounds better and why? The 2200 uses the DSD1791 DAC which has an SNR of 113 dB while the 2900 uses DSD1790 which doesn't even have any specs and is labeled as preview on the Texas Instruments website. Does anyone know what the tech specs of the DSD1790 are? Would be interesting if from an engineering standpoint, the cheaper player was actually the better sounding one.</font>

<font color='#8D38C9'>I know everyone here has been bashing the audio mags, but TAS reviewed the 2200 and the 2900 both- they hated the sound of the 2900 but loved the 2200 (same critic in both cases). &nbsp;Go figure.</font>
