I have a 3910. I believed this DVD player will meet all your requirements. I haven't tested PAL if it works. So far I'm happy with it.

Well, the 3800, 4800 and 2900 are all discontinued models and the 3805 is a receiver, so I guess that leaves the best choice as the 3910...which sounds like a pretty awesome unit :)

Denon DVD Players: The 5900 or the 3910?

What do you think gang? If price is not a consideration, which unit would you rather own, and why? The 5900 weighs about 10 pounds more, so I have to think that there is something I'm missing...but the 3910 has HDMI (too bad the 3805 doesn't...).

I would go with the 3910 over the 5900 if video is your primary concern. (I did...) 3910 has greatly reduced/eliminated the macroblocking issue with Faroudja based players. Its quite a bit cheaper too... The 5900 is said to have better Hi Rez audio.
