Having just made the quantum leap into DTS Home Theatre, I found this review reassuring. I recently purchased the Denon 2910 DVD Player together with the 3905 AV Receiver. While the review was useful, for beginners like me, it would have been helpful if more of the article had been devoted to audio set up. I chose not to connect a sub woofer (due to past experience) but am now wondering if I should make that next leap. Also, I bought the Fourplay DVD-A but found no audible difference when I compared it to the CD which I ran off a Marantz CD63MkII. This means I probably set up something incorrectly. I've been playing around with the settings (a lot!), but still can hear no difference. To boot, the system is 6 weeks old and the DVD player has had to go back to the supplier for repairs! The DVD plays up to 20 mins of a movie and then resets to the beginning. Also, there is a programming flaw - when I programmed selected tracks off CD's, it would either play a track that wasn't programmed in or replay the last track that had been programmed in. Again, I might be a beginner to DTS, but I know my way around programming.
