Denon DVD-2910 DVD Player is HD DVD Player

Dear All:

I am looking for DVD player and like Denon 2910 DVD player based on the review. is it HD DVD player? Nowaday people talk about HD DVD player a lot about the battle to unify the HD DVD format. How important of HD DVD feature in overall HT system?

I also consider the Yamaha DVD-S2500 player, since I have Yamaha receiver V2500. Would it be the best match?

What is other DVD player you woud suggest in price range of 600-800?

Those would be HD-DVD and Blu-ray, neither of which are on the market yet. IMO, the 2910 is a good choice in that price range. Very good video and audio.
