Denon DRA 545R

Good day,

I am having some issues with a Denon DRA 545R receiver. I have a Technics 1900 turntable attached to the Phono input and am finding that the playback is occurring in MONO. On the front, there is a display light reading MONO to confirm my suspicions.

Further, I have an iPod connected to the receiver as well, and there is absolutely no sound coming through the left channel at all.

I have checked all the connections/speaker wiring/ balance knob etc...

Any suggestions?

also - there is no switch on this particular model to change between stereo and mono...

Is there some sort of menu that allows you to adjust channel levels?

I have the DRA395 and I don't have mono or stereo buttons or indicators, but if I turn a channel all the way down I think it is automatically sending both signals to the other channel...

That's pretty strange, check in your iPod manual if there are some details about using this.
