Guys and Gals,

I had a party two weeks back, when friends managed to crank up my Denon DRA 395 amplifier a tidge past its capacity. Now - despite disconnecting the speakers and fidgeting with the "MUTING" button - it won't work, and you can appreciate how much that blows.

Does anyone have tips that might be helpful? I've reviewed the owner's manual multiple times, but to no avail

Stranded without tunes in Colorado,

By “doesn’t work” do you mean the unit will not power on or just no sound?

In either case I would check if the unit has fuses on the power supply and/or output stages and if so replace the blown ones. Be sure to unplug it before removing the top cover.
