On January 22, 2015, Denon introduced a new line of professional monitors designed for conference rooms and meeting spaces. One of those speakers is the new tri-amplified, three-way DN-506SA Monitor.
This 160-watt monitor was designed for the support of presentation material, collaborative discussions and critical multimedia playback. It features a 1-inch silk dome tweeter combined with a 6-inch Kevlar woven woofer. A three-position proximity control adapts the speaker’s bass response for placement next to walls. Standard VESA mounting holes under each cabinet extend placement from tabletops and shelves to walls and ceilings. As for connections, they include balanced XLR and ¼-inch and RCA inputs to ensure simple connection to common audio sources. It comes with detachable metal grille surrounded by a liquid-smoke metallic trim. A custom wave-guide ensures smooth, wide audio dispersion to the audience and, when powered on, a blue LED assists with placement orientation. What do you think about this monitor?
