Hi all, I bought the Denon DHT-391XP (HTiB) system yesterday and it comes with AVR-391 receiver. This is my first actual home theater system as I had one of those DVD player plus speaker system before.
Since I'm new to this thing I need to know the basics of audio systems. The manual talks about setting the speakers to your liking but it doesn't mention how the frequencies should be setup. It ranges from 80Hz to 250Hz. First of all is 80Hz deep bass or 250Hz? Then there's LFE settings and setting the speakers to "Large", "Medium", "Small".
I'm so confused here. Please help or tell me if there's a way to set the whole thing to "auto" somehow. (I've prolly just pissed off the Audio Gods by wanting to set the whole thing to auto).
