I just went and purchased the new Qualia 006 television. I am looking to set a home theater/home audio system. I have always been a fan of Denon products. I would like to use the best that Denon has to offer.Where should I start? I have the money. I want to do this right the first time. Thanks for the info.

It's easy to say, "Get the 5805" because it is the top of the Denon line. It's also 6k. Money may not be an object for you but do you really need that much receiver? So.................

What are your needs? How big is your room? How many rooms do you want to power with your receiver? Do you have speakers picked out? You obviously have a new display, do you have any other equipment you'd like to use? Replace? Kinda need a little more info.

If you want Denon's flagship models you want the 5805 receiver ($6000), and the 5910 DVD player ($2500). From what I've read on this site (and elsewhere on the web) these are the "schizzle", and the hype is more fact than fancy. The question I would pose to you is whether or not you would get best dollar value from putting that kind of dosh ($8500) into electronics, or get a 3805 and 3910 for $2400 and put the extra $6000 into speakers. Me, I'd go the speaker route, myself (look at my sig.line, and you'll see why).

Bryan...but then again, that's just me...
