Denon avrx3100w

Hi guys, I recently bought a use avrx3100w and cant figure out something. Is this receiver really 7.2? My question is about the .2 I have plugged 2 subs but when I do the auto set up only one sub pops on the screen., and when the set up for sub comes I can hear the signal from both subs. Soud to me that this is single sub out only with 2 rca jack's on the rear of the receiver labeled sub1 and sub2. Is that what it is or I am doing something wrong?

That model has two sub pre-outs, but it is basically just an internal splitter, they are not separately adjustable for level/delay like the Denons further up the ladder that had such a feature (using Audyssey XT32/SubEQ features).

This technology did trickle down into the Denon 3000 series, but after your 3100.
The 3300 and newer models have it, but the 3200 and earlier did not!

That's what I thought, thanks guys for the input. Time to save up for new receiver or maybe pre amp.
