Hello,

I have had my Denon AVR-1910 for a few months now with my xbox hooked up to it via HDMI. It was working perfectly until yesterday. The picture comes through just fine but I have no sound. I haven't played my xbox in a few weeks and I don't think I have made any changes to the receiver settings since the last time I played. I've searched around but have not found a suitable answer for my problem. I'm hoping someone here can help and maybe point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Double check the XBOX 360 sound settings and make sure it's outputting via HDMI. Also make sure that Dobly Digital is selected and try to turn of Dolby Digital with WMA.

I can't remember, does the 1910 have the option to switch HDMI to "TV" mode (no audio extraction/repeater) instead of "AMP" mode? If so, check that.

Always worth unplugging everything (hard power) and then plugging it all back in to see if it fixes it. I had a Denon receiver freeze up on video processing once and that solved it immediately.
