Denon avr-x5200w

I'm trying to use a Denon avr-x5200w in 3 different zones as a 2 channel receiver, but I haven't been able to play in zone 2, the manual is not clear in doing this, need help

If you are using it for 2 channels only, you should be able to play in both zone 2 and 3. Typically you would have to use analog source, or your media player's HDMI set to output PCM instead of bitstream. There appears to be a selection for HDMI zone2 that you can set to PCM as well, see manual page 250.
