Denon AVR-X5200W Auro 3D Amplifier for 10.1 Help

Hello!

I am brand new to the forum! I anticipate this is the place to get some great thoughts on suggestions for an amplifier needed for the Auro 3D "voice of God" channel that Denon suggests in their latest manual. Page 60 of the manual is uploaded for viewing as a picture is worth 1,000 words so they (whoever "they" are) say.

I'm hoping to match the power of the 5200 for this single channel so I'm thinking it should be an inexpensive solution.

The industry is not doing itself any favors by doing this. There are too many new products touting the flavor of the week surround format to the point it has become mind spinningly (pretty sure I just made a new word) confusing and ultimately frustrating the consumer. Then again, maybe I'm the only one.

You might try to pick up a used Marantz MA-500 if you're looking to save money and get something small. Someone else will probably have a better suggestion of an amplifier that offers similar performance but has a 12v trigger so you don't have to leave the amp on all the time.
