Denon AVR-X3400H vs Marantz SR5012 vs Yamaha RX-A870

Hi to everyone!

I decided to upgrade my home cinema system and i am currently looking for a new AV. I am willing to spend a maximum amount of $1000.

After googling and consulting with some tech savy friends i have narrowed down my options to these 3 AVs:

1) Denon AVR-X3400H

3) Yamaha RX-A870

I would love to hear your thoughts about which AV i should choose and why. I am leaning towards the Denon system, but if you have a different opinion you would help me immersely if you shared your thought.

What ever has all the features you need / is cheapest. Many prefer Denon / Marantz over Yamaha for Audyssey. All 3 are solid units. I would get either the Denon X4300 for $799 brand new or X3300 for $599 brand new on Amazon.

The Denon avr-x3400h is actually more comparable to the SR6012. At $800, the avr-x4300h, comparable to the SR7011, is a much better deal.

If the latest and greatest video formats are not a priority, the Denon X3300W for $600 or X4300W for $800 are the best value for money.
