Denon AVR-X1100W or Onkyo TX-NR626

Good Morning everyone. I need a little advice on which receiver to purchase. My wife got me the Onkyo HT5600 HTIB for Christmas...I settled on this as it came with everything and was a deal at $399. Well, y'all know how it goes when you settle. My primary issue was that when streaming video the sound and or video would cut out. So I returned the whole thing.

I really want Bluetooth and wifi connectivity along with the ability to have a zone 2. These two have similar feature sets and can be purchased for the same price. Does anyone have experience with either of these?

Quick question - you say that you had issues when streaming video. Do you mean passing video through the Onkyo receiver, or do you mean streaming video over your network? If you're talking about streaming over a network, it might have had nothing to do with the receiver.

As for your question between those two receivers, I own the 626. I think it's a good receiver. There are reviews of it getting hot and/or having issues. I didn't experience that while I was using it, but there are enough of those reviews to make me believe it's a real issue with some of the units.

I've decided on the Denon. Either would have been a great choice but the Denon has Airplay and we're an Apple household.
