Denon AVR-X1000 receiver help

I have a Denon receiver, smart TV and a cable box all connected. When I play my television, sound comes through the receiver to the speakers. However, when I use the internet on the smart tv, the sound only comes from the TV and not through the receiver to my speakers. What needs to be connected or a change of connection for the sound to always come through the receiver to the speakers no matter whether I am using the TV or accessing the internet on the TV? Thanks for any help anyone may be able to give!

So, everything that is fed TO the receiver and then FROM the receiver TO the TV plays through the receivers speakers, right?

You have to have an audio output FROM the TV going TO the receiver.

I also need help:
I just got a pre-owned Denon AVR-X1000.
My question is, "IN-COMMAND" is a standard feature of Denon AVR-X1000 or some AVR-X1000 models don't have this feature?
On google, in images some Denon AVR-X1000 have IN-COMMAND written on them and some not.
Regards.
You don't need to do multiple posts and you can always start your own thread. See the answer I provided in your other post. It's not a difference in model, google images isn't really a very good way of determining much.
