Denon avr issue :-(

Hey so I'm running into a problem I have a Denon AVR s700w and for some reason when I press the info button it is only showing the front left and front right speakers as input speakers well I have 7.1 hooked up to the system is there something I did to cause this to happen where it's only getting the input signal from two speakers or does anyone know how I can fix it

What input/source is it? Speakers aren't an input, and your Denon likely can show source input or speaker output? What is it setup for in information? It just sounds like whatever it is, the source is only 2.0.

Right but I got HDMI from PC to receiver HDMI from receiver the TV I was under the impression that this is all I needed to get 5.1 or 7.1.

When I press the info button the input signal is only front left and front right while a bunch of other speakers are all active. This mean I'm not getting any of the sound from all the other speakers I have connected. My setup is set up for ideally music movies and some gaming but that's usually through the PlayStation 4

Just sounds like you need to adjust the audio output settings of the source pc, seems its only providing 2.0 now.

ps Just what is the content you're providing in the pc?

Sorry but my PC audio is set to out put hdmi through AMD.
And the sound l
Profile is set to 7.1. On the PC. and when I perform the sound test on the PC I get a sound to emit from all speakers and a subwoofer.


What setting could I have missed?
And what do you mean by what content am I playing?

What is the 7.1 content you're playing from the pc? A bluray? Some sort of video streaming with DD+?
