Denon AVR-590 HDMI sound problems

Hello,

I just (yesterday) purchased a Denon AVR-590.I hooked up everything via HDMI.I have the audio (on the receiver) set to play my blu ray player audio through the receiver/stereo speakers.

Sometimes(not always) when I turn everything (blu ray, receiver, and tv) no sound through the stereo speakers.Video works "like a charm".In order to get the audio to work, I have had to switch the receiver off and then back on.After "on/off", audio works great.

Any suggestions?

I'm having the same issue with the 1610. I currently have it set to play HDMI audio through the TV speakers (until my surround sound speakers arrive and are installed.)

I have to click menu twice after turning on the television to get it to play through the tv. I've tried changing the HDMI control and various other settings--no luck so far.

If anyone knows of a fix, please reply.
