The 587 and the 1507 are the same. Denon sells the 1507 through it's "special" retailers while the 587 is sent out to the mass-market circuit cities of the world. The 1707/687 is one step up and adds auto-setup via the enclosed mic. You can do more complete comparisons on the Denon website.
