Just got my 4806 and am hooking it up. The Auto EQ couldn't be easier! Unfortunately, the HDMI Video Upconversion doesn't appear to be highly intuitive, and the manual doesn't help much...
I am trying to run the HDMI from my cable box through the receiver, as well as convert to HDMI from my Component cables on my DVD player. So far no picture with either the TV or the DVD...
HDMI from the cable box is in HDMI1. Cable from receiver HDMI Out goes to the TV. DVD Component cables in Component 1 input.
OSD Settings:
#4 Video Setup: Screen 4-1: HDMI/DVI In Assign, TV is set to HDMI1. Screen 4-2: Component in Assign set to 1RCA for the DVD. Screen 4-3: Video Convert Mode DVD is set to Component, TV: Auto (s-video and video are the only other settings...). 4-4:HDMI Out Setup is set to ON, Color Space set to YCbCr, RGB Mode Setup to Normal.
What am I doing wrong?
