Denon AVR 4802 Questions

Does anyone have any experiance with this reciever? I can get my hands on a used one for 425. Would it be a good upgrade from my pioneer elite vsx-45tx? I am not going to use the hdmi switching, i am just interested sound quality for the most part. Any help would be greatley appreciated.

Unless it has some bells on it that you need, I would skip it and spend the money on an external amp which you may not need but would be cool.
