I did a search and didn't find anything so here it goes

-Denon AVR-3806 vs yamaha v2600

I'm no audiophile...an audio noob would be more realistic..but I'm looking at both of these and would love the audio gods of this forum to really debate about these two pieces of receiver gold.....

DEBATE ON!!!!!!!:D :D

Sorry to spoil your debate urges, but both models have been extensively discussed in these forum's already. Search or scan the previous posts from the last couple months and you'll probably find all the info you need. Both models are great, and most everyone will tell you that you can't go wrong with either one. I own a Denon 3806, use it as a prepro for my HT; been very pleased.

Tenacious, reread my answer to this same post in the AV123 forum; as Brad says, the discussions you seek are already posted...:)

That's an easy one. They are both a waste of money over the DEN3805/YAM2500.

Unless you need already obsolete HDMI 1.1 switching that does not work with current HD sources, or you need to upscale yor VHS and dreamcast.

Maybe next year:(

P.S. I don't want to hear about how much sweeter the preamp is:p there all better than the human ear.
