Denon AVR 3806 - any issues with HDMI?

Hey all:

I have direct TV HD. Use HDMI from the direct tv box to the denon which goes to my sharp aquos.

I am hvaing issues with the signal cuts out for a second andcuts back in. it is rnadom but when watching tv def have it regularly.

Is it my denon or the direct tv?

when i attach the long hdmi cable that goes to my tv to my laptop i never have another issue.

any thoughts?

Direct TV did not get their boxes HDCP certified. With some units they will work with others not well.
