Denon AVR 3600

I have a chance to buy a Denon AVR 3600 for $200 and want to find out if its worth it or would I be better off buying a newer unit. For the time being I dont want to go over $400. The Denon is like new in its original box with manual and remote.

Denon AVR-3600

I used to own this receiver a few years ago. It would depend on what your Home Theater needs are.
Some of the earlier units did not have DTS decoders built in, and would only do Dolby Digital. I don't remember how many digital inputs there are. The Denon AVR 3600 does have a high quality sound and I have no problems recommending this but be aware of its limitations as far as Home Theater is concerned.
