Denon AVR-3312CI Strange Zone 2 Problem

I have an odd problem with the playback for the receiver's Zone 2 - only the "Net/USB" categories are functional (Pandora, Internet Radio, Media Server, etc). If I choose a source other than Net/USB, the receiver has no output.

I executed a factory reset, but the issue remains. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?

Just to double check what you're trying to do is possible, do you mind listing the other sources you have tried?

BD, SAT/CBL, GAME1...they're all HDMI inputs to the receiver.

The only inputs that zone 2 will accept are network, 2 channel PCM over optical/coax digital, or analog inputs. HDMI will not work, see manual page 82.

Second zone descriptions are something that take a bit of practice to interpret. It's really unfortunate that people don't make it clearer what you can and cannot do with them.

You could always add analog connections for the sources you want to use in Zone 2.
