Is the phono input on an AVR any different than the other analog inputs? IE: CD, SAT/CBL, DOCK etc..

surveyor Audioholic Chief Feb 14, 2023 #3 OK, I have a Otofon X3-MC cartridge, so no need to pull out the AVR and connect to the phono input. I have an EMOTIVA XPS-1 preamp feeding the Dock analog input. Thanks!
