Denon AVR-1612 with Bose Acoustimass 6 or JBL SBS 200.5

Dear All,

I'm writing from Bangladesh where it's hard (unavailable sometime!) to find good latest speakers and AV receivers. However I have managed to get hold of Denon authorized dealer from whom i have decided to go for AVR-1612.

The problem is with speakers. There is not much of choice of speakers in Dhaka. So I could only find a JBL in local market; the model is SCS200.5. On the other hand BOSE has authorized dealer here and they give all kind of service and support. Surprisingly the price of SCS200.5 & Bose Acoustimass 6 has got around same price tag in Bangladesh.

Considering these choices of speaker.. can you please suggest which speaker i should go for? JBL SCS2005. or Bose Acoustimass 6?

I will buy it tentatively by next week! So please reply soon. Thanks.

I would not recommend either. Other than Denon and Bose, what brands have you tracked down?
