Denon avr 1610 question

I have a Denon avr 1610 which is about 6 years old. I'm looking to connect it to a AR wireless speaker with bluetooth. Does anyone have a suggestion how to do that.
Is there a device I can get to pair the speaker to th receiver?

Hi, Dan. Is that the only speaker that you want to connect to the Denon, or is it one that you want to use for just one of the channels?

If you do a web search for "bluetooth audio transmitter," you'll find some ideas. For example, if it's the only speaker that you want to use, you could connect a device like this one to your headphone jack.

Hi Adam, thanks for responding to my question. I actually bought something similar at my local electronic store. The device wouldn't pair with my bluetooth speaker for some reason. I'm not sure why that is because it pairs fine with my mobile devices. I thought that would be a nice simple fix.
My receiver is hard wired to my other speakers but the wireless speaker is on my back deck.

Sorry for the delay in responding!

There are Bluetooth receivers and transmitters. If you bought a receiver, then it wouldn't pair with the speaker and would pair with your mobile devices. You need to buy a transmitter to send a signal to your speaker. Do you still have the one you bought to check if you got a receiver by accident?

No I returned it. The kid at the store didnt have any other suggestions. I will be checking elsewhere for a transmitter. Thanks.
