Denon AVR-1610 Question

I am looking to upgrade my surround sound system and not spend a lot of money. I plan on getting Klipsch HDT1000 surround sound speakers to go with it. I've done some homework and that seems to be a good fit. My question is would the Denon also be good for floorstanding speakers eventually as well? I don't have to have the best equipment because in all honesty I wouldn't know the difference, but would like to be able to have the versatility to also have floorstanding speakers someday, as I listen to quite a bit of music as well. Thank you in advance for any advice.

I'm a big fan of the Denon 590/1610 as it includes Audyssey MultEQ and has a good amp section for something that can be had for under $300 shipped. It will do great with those Klipsch. Floorstanders often times are more efficient than smaller speakers so I wouldn't worry about upgrading later unless the floorstanders are 4 ohms nominal.

If you can wait a little bit, the new Denon receivers should be coming out soon. There's a thread in here about the new lineup.
i saw that, but i'm looking for value/bargain, and this one is hard to pass up. thanks for the input everyone. if anyone else has any thought's i'd love to hear it.

Denon and Boston Accoustics are perfectly married. Get horizon MCS100 and will be so happy. Denon recomends them for 590 and 1610model.
