I am planning to geta home theatre system for my new house.
am new to hookin up home theatre systems, keeping my budget pretty low.
im thnkin of gettin

If you like Consumers Reports--they rated the Onkyo sr-504(the 505 is an update) a "best buy" and superior to the Denon avr 1706 & 1707(big brothers to the 1507). Speakers are soooo subjective--I think my DCM time windows are the worlds best at the price I paid(although I use Bose as my surround and backround speakers around my house). As primary speakers, I think most audiophiles would prefer Polks. You simply have to do a lot of research--good luck.
