Denon AV Receiver setup question

Can you use an old standard definition CRT TV to the setup on a Denon AVR-2311CI receiver or any of the newer Denon AV receivers or do I need a HDTV? What I need to know is the setup GUI being displayed in 480 resolution.

Yes- connect a cable from the composite video out (marked 'Monitor' on the Denon) to the Video input on the TV.
