Denon after market IR equip.

I just set up my Denon 4400H. It is in a cabinet with limited remote function. I know it has IR in/out 3.5mm jacks in the back. What is a good cost effective IR extender? Will something like this work?

My older flagship Denon 5807 came with the remote dock that you could plug in and use for an IR. It worked good.

Appreciate any assistance.

Dang it, didn't work. Maybe I'll contact denon and see what they recommend.

I tried my old denon one without success too.

Did you check you manual to make sure that the IR input does not have to be activated in the software?

You did not do your home work, that extender has a lot of lousy reviews.

I did check for a setup input for IR, did not see anything for it that I can recall.

It was a free try to see if it worked. I'm not asking you to do homework on my behalf, but do you have a suggestion? I just haven't been able to find much on this subject. I reached out to Denon, but they have yet to get back to me. Thx.
