Denon 985 vs. 2805 ??????

Are they the same reciever? I have been told they were, but there seems to be about 100.00 difference in price. I've seen them listed on one website review as Denon2805/985. Am I missing something?

I believe they are the exact same product but are named differently b/c they are sold in different stores that attract different types of customers, at least that's what I've heard. I'm not even really sure who the two target audiences are.
That being said, don't hesitate to buy the 985. I have one and absolutely love it, especially since I only paid a little over $600 for it.
