Denon 8308ci getting SUB ERROR 01

My Denon 8308ci receiver powers up and i have main zone power the am/fm tuner works and i get sound from my dvd or other analog singanls. I have no video out put not even the GUI menu. If i do an error check on it im getting SUB ERROR 01. Any one have suggestions????

Are you sure you posted the correct model number? While you are at it, can you provide more info?

1) Which player and how is it connected to the receiver
2) Which TV and how is it connected to receiver/ player

Denon 3808ci Receiver SUB ERROR 01

Sorry, its a Denon 3808ci Receiver. Its connected to a NEC HighDef projector and I have a Sony progessive scan DVD player. Im getting Error code (SUB ERROR 01) when you do an error search.

Yeah, the Denon website was just as helpful as their manuals. Most time effective way might be to call the Denon Tech Support line.
