I have this AVR and the RC-8000 remote (star trek triquarter). I moved the AVR to another system and now cannot get the on screen menu to appear on the monitor. I have tried all of the monitor outs (only 1 of each type apparently works). I have followed the manual about 5 times.
I also have a Denon 3802 and the remote for it controls many 5800 functions, but won't bring up on screen menu either. I think I have tried all of the obvious. I suppose there could be an equipment issue....but it just doesn't seem likely.
