Hi,
I was having difficulty finding this via search, so pardon me if it's redundant.
I read the Denon AVR 5200 review and it mentioned Atmos setup confusion. Bow howdy. The thing is driving me up the wall.
My setup:
Denon 5200
1 Definitive 8060-c (center)
2 Definitive 8060 STs (front L and R w/ LFE hooked up for subs)
2 Definitive A60s (front L and R, upfiring)
2 Pioneer Elite SP-EBS73-LR (surround L, R and rear surround uofiring L, R)
I just want to properly connect these speakers and enjoy a 5.2.4 Atmos setup.
My questions:
1. Which speaker terminals on the 5200 do I actually use for each speaker? They are confusingly labelled and the manual is a disaster.
2. In setup, do I choose a particular preset like 9.1 (per the review) or has firmware corrected that now?
3. Do I actually need another 2 channel preamp to drive a set of these like the upfiring portion of the rears? When I use Audyssey to setup and it tests those it sounds like it's switching.
Thanks so much.
