Denon 4700H CEC Question / Issue

I'm a new 4700H owner and have run into a CEC issue I'd be grateful for help with...

I have a new Chromecast (w/ remote) plugged into one of the receiver's HDMI inputs and the receiver's HDMI output to a LG C7 OLED (ARC) HDMI port.

CEC is enabled on both the TV & receiver. The volume button on the Chromecast remote works fine but the power button is a little wonky. With both the TV & receiver powered on, pressing the Chromecast power button turns off the receiver, then turns off the TV but about 8 seconds later the TV turns back on (receiver stays powered off)

Does anyone have any ideas why the TV would power back on after both devices power down from using the Chromecast remote? Is the 4700 sending a signal to the TV to wake it back up after going into standby mode?

Any troubleshooting steps or advice is greatly appreciated!

Because you've enabled HDMI-CEC no doubt. Why do you need it at all? Just trying to use one remote over another? I find universal remotes with macros much better.....

That kind of behavior is not uncommon when using HDMI-CEC with a number of different devices, receivers and TVs. Not sure the Chromecast allows for control from a universal IR remote control, but if so, I'd use the Denon remote control for everything. This would mean turning HDMI-CEC off which would also cut ARC. If you use the TV's apps as well, you would need to make an optical connection from the TV to the receiver after turning HDMI-CEC off. I usually stand in front of my TV for a bit after turning it off using HDMI-CEC to see if it will turn back on. It happens about 50% of the time.
