Denon 4306 Internet radio connectivity

I've been unsuccessful in getting my 4306 to connect up and download the Internet Radio station list. I'm plugging directly into my router and have it configured for DHCP. All I get is a "wait..." message, then "download failed". Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Check the router admin web page and see if the Denon is registered as a DHCP client and what IP address it has. See if you can ping the Denon from your PC.

You might want to try turning DHCP off and setting the IP address and subnet mask manually. I did this on my system successfully with a 2Wire router/DSL modem. I use 255.255.255.0 as the subnet mask on my system.
