Denon 3930ci question about SACD setup, only 2ch sound coming through

Hello everyone, I have a Yamaha RX 2700 and the Denon 3930. I recently purchased the SonicWave RCA analog cables and finally connected them to the receiver so I can listen to SACD. The Denon is connected to the Yamaha via DVIgear HDMI cable. I have no difficulty playing DVD's in 5.1, nor do I have any problem with DVD A. My receiver is set on the Multi Channel input to receive analog signal; the Denon is set on Multi for SACD playback. However, I hear just 2ch sound coming through front L and front R speakers. Yes, I triple checked the cabling they are plugged in accordingly.

From reading on this forum I learned not all SACD is 5.1, so could that possibly be the culprit? The disc is from Chesky Records, Babatunde Olatunji Circle of Drums SACD

I called Denon and they said try going through Pure Direct and selecting the "All Off" function which supposedly just sends analog signal. I am currently at work and cannot try this until tonight. I was curious if anyone has tried this or if anyone has this Denon, what are your settings to play SACD.

I appreciate your help. BTW, I have learned SO much from this forum, thank you to those who consistently contribute and help those of us who lack your knowledge!

I have the 2930CI which is connected to my 3808 via DenonLink, so the setup is not the same, but I think that in your case you'd have to enter the 3930 menu and select how you want to output the audio, keeping in mind that the 3930 (as the 2930) are HDMI 1.1 so no SACD MCH on these players through HDMI (you'd need v1.2 for that).
One other reason I can think of is as you mention, the SACD could be just stereo, you'd have to check the back of the jewel case and see if that's so, but according to Acoustic Sounds website, it says is MCH and Stereo, in which case you'd have to select the layer you want to play.

Did you enable all the speakers in the Denon 3930 setup for multi-channel out? My Yamaha SACD has the ability to turn off specific multi-channel outs.
