Dollar for dollar, I think the Onkyo is hard to beat when it comes to performance (power, THD, SNR, Crosstalk, F.R., etc.) and features in both audio and video.

The only issue is the heat production. So as long as you have great ventilation, perhaps it's not that big of an issue. But if you have a closed cabinet or rack that does not provide maximum ventilation (top mounted), do NOT get the Onkyo.

I was able to test the Onkyo 875 to replace my Denon 2805(at home same setup), And with all the different sound modes the Onkyo has the Denon sounded better, also I like the Extra Front speakers A & B, because zone 1 & 2 suck can only be used in analog, tell me there is not much difference in analog and direct or pure direct. But denon has Zones if you want that also. Denon all the way!!!
